Strathmore & District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards
At the annual Strathmore & District Chamber of Commerce Awards held on October 19, 2017, two of the oldest businesses in continuous operation within the Strathmore district were recognized by the Western District Historical Society on the occasion of our nation’s 150th anniversary, the Western Irrigation District and The Strathmore Standard. A third business, the Strathmore Hotel, was unable to attend on this occasion and was later given their certificate.
